DUPOINT TYVEK FIRECURB
A variety of fireproof constructions and materials are being used to improve the fire safety of a building. Now, this range will be supplemented with a material, which according to its functions can hardly be imagined in the role of a fighter against the destructive force of fire. It is the latest product of Tyvek brand of the well-known producer of construction films DuPont – fire retardant, breathable film DUPOINT TYVEK FIRECURB. The new product is the result of a completely innovative, patented technology and the response of the film material to exposure to flame corresponds to class B, which according to standard EN 13501-1is defined in the fire performance classification of construction materials. Pursuant to this standard, flames are unable to spread further than 150mm within 60 seconds for class B products. With the help of Tyvek® FireCurb™ film, flames are literally stopped and smothered.
